The opportunity for Advisory Consultants

We are growing our Operational Effectiveness Advisory Team of  over 30 people, and we have vacancies for Consultants, who are involved in every stage of the consulting process with our clients;

  • Scoping engagements by interviewing clients, gathering relevant data and comparing it with appropriate benchmarks
  • Developing approaches and plans to address organisation opportunities and issues
  • Leading consulting and client workstream teams  that deliver results
  • Providing programme management support to ensure the operational initiative achieves its objectives
  • Capturing the lessons learned to support the development of intellectual capital

Some of the assignments that our Advisory Consultants have worked on recently include:

  • Developing an integration plan for a group of businesses that had been acquired in the US, UK, China and Ireland
  • Implementing a cost reduction programme for a semi-state company
  • Supporting the restructuring of a manufacturing operation that needed to simultaneously run a redundancy programme, whilst recruiting new highly specialist resources
  • Developing a toolkit for an Industry that will be significantly impacted by Brexit
  • Managing the outsourcing of a significant operation for a Financial Institution
Qualification Level:
Ideal candidates will have a relevant primary or advanced degree (MBA or equivalent is desirable)
Required Experience:

Ideal candidates will have a relevant primary or advanced degree (MBA or equivalent is desirable), and 3 to 5 years of business or consulting experience.  The key competencies that you will be able to demonstrate are:
