A career within Cybersecurity and Privacy services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients implement an effective cybersecurity programme that protects against threats, propels transformation, and drives growth. As companies pivot toward a digital business model, exponentially more data is generated and shared among organisations, partners and customers. We play an integral role in helping our clients ensure they are protected by developing transformation strategies focused on security, efficiently integrate and manage new or existing technology systems to deliver continuous operational improvements and increase their cybersecurity investment, and detect, respond, and remediate threats.

Responsibilities
Represent the EU DPO Office in all relevant matters, including informing, providing advice to the business, and responding to any internal queries concerning the General Data Protection
Regulation (“GDPR”) and all other EU privacy and data protection matters
Evaluate the impact, and monitor the performance and effectiveness of, Data Protection Impact Assessments, and undertake other privacy and data protection-related investigations where necessary
Develop guidance as well as training and awareness materials for relevant business functions involved in the processing of personal data
Partner with relevant industry and consumer bodies to analyze relevant GDPR developments and their impact on Facebook users
Maintain a monitoring program and privacy and data protection controls framework
Act as contact point for data subjects in any DPO matters, including handling and responding to data subject requests
Support the DPO in responding to regulatory inspections and maintaining a relationship with data protection authorities, including developing regulatory strategy
Support the DPO in preparing for events, speeches, and meetings with data protection authorities
Draft and provide reports to executives and the public as appropriate on DPO matters

Qualification Level:
Desired certifications: CIPP/E, CIPP/M, CIPP/T
Required Experience:

Minimum Qualification
5-8+ years of experience working in privacy and data protection with law firm, renowned consultancy and/or in-house with internet or technology companies
Strong knowledge of and interest in emerging technologies and devices
Demonstrated ability to provide pragmatic and creative advice to business with considerations to the impact in Facebook users and society
Ability to independently, quickly and accurately assess legal, practical and business risks, as well as risks to data subjects, in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated expertise in privacy and data issues arising in one or more privacy areas, including engaging with and responding to requests from data subjects and data protection authorities
Exceptional interpersonal skills and an absolute commitment to professionalism and collegiality
Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to get the job done
Sharp focus on multi-tasking, details, and organisational skills
Attention to detail and strong drafting ability that can be used in a commercial setting with business stakeholders, as well as in a public setting with data subjects and data protection

Preferred Qualification
Experience with the General Data Protection Regulation, as well as other global privacy laws, regulations, and industry guidelines, especially including those relevant for social media and Internet companies
Desired certifications: CIPP/E, CIPP/M, CIPP/T
